CHAPTER 1: INTRODUCTION
There was once a town called Melancholia, where the spirits of heartbreaks and hardships go. The skies there were always gloomy and dark. Grey clouds filled the skies like a grey blanket. Most trees either had brown leaves and were going to wilt or already wilted. I want to tell you about some events that occurred in Melancholia, the stories about this tainted city.
CHAPTER 2: HOTEL MELANCHOLIA
This is a story about tourism in Melancholia. You see, Melancholia is rarely visited and the tourism rate is low, so there are only a few hotels there. Among the few hotels is the one you should not visit, which is the hotel named after the town, Hotel Melancholia.
The story begins with a news reporter, Mr. Biugle. One night, Mr. Biugle was travelling back to his hometown. Halfway through his journey, his vision grew dim and his sight grew heavy and he felt tires. He eventually decided to stop his journey. Fortunately, or should I say unfortunately, he noticed a shining and shimmering light. Upon further inspection, the light seemed to come from a hotel. He wondered why his car was the only one there. Then, he noticed a woman, approximately in her 20s, standing in the doorway, holding an unlit candle.
"Come in," she said. "You must be tired from all of your travelling. Let me bring you in," she said as she rang the mission bell.
Mr. Biugle didn't know how to respond. He was glad that he had a place to stay for the night, but at the same time he felt suspicious that he was the only guest there. It was like heaven but it could be hell. Then, the woman lit up the candle and showed Mr. Biugle the way to his room. While walking down the corridor, Mr. Biugle heard some voices singing, "Welcome to the Hotel Melancholia, such a lovely place, such a lovely face." Mr. Biugle got creeped out by those voices.
A while later, they arrived at Mr. Biugle's room. "Here it is, room number 134. This is your room from now on. If you need anything, just call me, Janice, at the number 643 using the telephone in the room.
"Okay, thanks a lot," Mr. Biugle said.
The next morning, Mr. Biugle heard a knock on his door.
"Knock! Knock!" a sound came from the door.
"Who is it?" asked Mr. Biugle.
"It's me, Janice," Janice said. "I'm here to bring you to breakfast."
"Okay, I'll be there," said Mr. Biugle.
A few minutes later, Mr. Biugle and Janice were having a conversation while walking to the dining room.
"You know, I still haven't got your name," said Janice.
"Oh, it's Ben Biugle. You can call me Ben."
A while later, they stopped at a door with a strangely familiar sign on it. It has three spikes inside a circle.
"Why did we stop here?" asked Mr. Biugle.
"This is my room, room number 643," replied Janice.
"What is that sign?" Mr. Biugle asked curiously.
"Oh, that," Janice remarked. "It's the logo of Mercedes Benz. It's from my old Mercedes car. It reminds me of my previous life."
"What happened to your Mercedes car?" asked Mr. Biugle, wanting to know the details.
"I don't want to talk about it. Anyway, let's continue going to the dining room."
Some time later, they arrived at the dining room. They are breakfast together while chatting.
"Hey, who are these other people around us? I thought I was the only guest here," said Mr. Biugle after looking around the dining room.
"Oh, those are my pretty people that I call friends," Janice answered. "After breakfast, I shall take you to the courtyard."
Later, when breakfast was finished, Janice brought Mr. Biugle to the courtyard.
"Hey, there are your friends again! What are they doing here?" asked Mr. Biugle.
"I have brought you here to see their dance, which is called 'The Sweet Summer Sweat'," replied Janice. "Some of my friends dance it to try to remember their past and some of them dance it to forget their past," she added.
"That's right," a rough, deep voice said.
"Oh, it's just you," Janice said to the voice.
"Who?" asked Mr. Biugle, feeling surprised.
"Aye, matey. Aye be Captain Barnacles, a staff here," said the voice. "Would you like anything to drink?" Captain Barnacles asked.
"Please bring me my wine," Mr. Biugle said.
"Hey, we never had that spirit here since 1969," commented Captain Barnacles. "I like that spirit of yours," he said as he went to take the wine.
A few minutes later, Captain Barnacles returned with a bottle of wine and three wine glasses. "You know what? This hotel is one of the first hotels ever in Melancholia. Some say that this hotel is haunted. Can you believe that?" asked Captain Barnacles.
Mr. Biugle thought for a while, "So this could explain the weird singing." "No, I can't believe that," said Mr. Biugle after drinking his glass of wine. He stood up and left, without saying a single word.
In his room, he sat down thinking about the singing voices. Occasionally, Mr. Biugle could still hear the singing voices calling from far away. It even woke him in the middle of the night, just to hear them sing, "Welcome to the Hotel Melancholia, such a lovely place, such a lovely face." It was just plain disturbing.
"Hey, Ben!" called Janice from outside the door.
"Come in," said Mr. Biugle.
"What are you thinking about?" asked Janice, seeing Mr. Biugle's solemn and serious face.
"To be frank with you, I can hear some voices in the corridor every now and then. They sing, 'Welcome to the Hotel Melancholia, such a lovely place, such a lovely face.' It kind of disturbs me. Are they ghosts?"
"Actually, Ben, that is the hotel's theme song. It could just be a recording that you're hearing," said Janice. "Hey, Ben, I have some secrets that you might want to know. First of all, Janice isn't really my real name. If I'm not mistaken, my real name should be Tiffany, Tiffany Twisted. I might be wrong as I have forgot my exact name after dancing 'The Sweet Summer Sweat'. Then, when I asked Captain Barnacles about my true identity, he told me that I was a staff member here who just recovered from amnesia, and he named me Janice. He even told me that I was his godfather, and I have been calling him that ever since."
"Oh, I didn't know that. Hey, then how did you get here?" Mr. Biugle asked, with a greed to know more.
"You see, I was like you, a traveller who stopped by here. I was then welcomed by Captain Barnacles. I also befriended some of the people here, the pretty people that I call friends. Sooner or later, I came to like this hotel. My friends taught me 'The Sweet Summer Sweat' dance and I have forgotten about my past. I have a real life now, as Janice and as a staff member, thought I might have forgotten too much."
"Oh, I see," said Mr. Biugle after listening to Janice's story.
"Hey, do you want to go to eat dinner?" invited Janice.
"Dinner?" asked Mr. Biugle, looking surprised.
"We folks here have dinner early," said Janice. "Come on, don't be a stranger."
Later, when Janice and Mr. Biugle reached the dinner hall, Mr. Biugle noticed that it was kind of odd. There were mirrors on the ceiling and pink champagne on ice. Mr. Biugle asked Janice, "Why are there mirrors on the ceiling?"
But Janice only replied reluctantly in a cryptic manner, "We are only prisoners here, of our own device." She further explained, "This dining hall is called the Master's Chambers. We gather here every evening for the feast."
"Okay, then why are those people trying to stab that goat with their steely knives?" asked Mr. Biugle, pointing at the chef holding a steely knife.
"Oh, the goat's our dinner. Every evening, the cooks try to stab the goat as dinner, but today, with no luck, they still can't kill the beast. That's why dinner is always early," explained Janice.
After dinner, Mr. Biugle decided that it was finally time to continue his journey. He packed his bags and checked out. He was already ready to leave. Alas, he couldn't find the passage that he was at before. Then, he heard some footsteps coming closer and closer to him. He then ran as fast as he could, but he just got lost.
Suddenly, a man dressed in red appeared. "Relax, for I am only the night guard," the man said.
"What a relief! Could you help me to find the way out?" asked Mr. Biugle.
"Relax," said the night guard. "We are programmed to receive. You can check out anytime you like, but you can never leave."
Then, Mr. Biugle suddenly felt tired and collapsed.
"Sorry, mate, just business. Nothing personal," a rough, deep voice said.
The next day, he woke up in his room, but he forgot what had happened.
"What am I doing here?" he asked his ownself.
Suddenly, a girl came in from the front door.
"You're finally awake," she said.
"Who are you again?" he asked the girl. "Do I know you?"
"Don't mind that. The real question is, who are you?"
"Me... Me.... I am... I don't even remember anymore, honestly."
"Oh, I know who you are. You are Benson Martell, my boyfriend, and a news reporter here that is always on the job twenty four seven."
"Oh, I remember now," Mr. Biugle said. "And you must be my girlfriend, Janice."
The last we heard from Mr. Biugle was that he worked as the hotel's secretary and news reporter. This is therefore a lesson to learn, never visit Hotel Melancholia.
CHAPTER 3: MELANCHOLIA HIGH SCHOOL
Once upon a time, there is a high school in Melancholia. This school used to be abandoned due to money cost and other reasons but after 2 years the building is completed and it's open to everyone that want to continue their study in secondary school.
When recess time, Melly, Adam, Noah and Zack sit together and tell about the history of their high school.
"Hey, did you know that our school before this is abandoned?" said Melly.
"I know. Everybody in Melancholia know about this. And also, I heard that our school construction is abandoned due to money cost", said Adam.
"Not only that. I heard that they said many workers died when the construction is on going. Some said that there are spirits disturbed them and many of them commited suicide here and also have a worker that being stucked by the construction cement and then he died", said Zack.
"Oh, please don't tell me these stories. It give me creeps", said Noah.
"Alright, we won't tell anymore. Hey, how about we do visit our school tonight? I want to see if this story is real", said Zack.
"What? Heck no! I won't go", said Noah.
"Come on, Noah! Are you scared?" asked Adam.
"No...no I'm not! I will go with you three tonight. We'll wait at the football field", said Noah.
"Great! But we need to avoid the security, if not we'll being busted and then we'll being mad by our parents. Just said that we all go to...the library, to study. Is it okay?" explained Adam.
"All right then! We'll see you all at the football field tonight. See you soon!" said Melly.
After that, they all leave except Noah.
"Hehehehe...so they want to see what really happens huh? Well, you all will see it tonight! And I will make sure they won't tell this story because they won't get out alive. You will know who I really am! And also once they enter, they'll never return! Hahahaha", said Noah in her heart.
That night, Melly, Noah, Adam and Zack met at the school football field as they promised to meet.
"All right, we already pass the guard. Now to see if this storied is real", said Zack.
"Ohh, I'm scared!" said Noah.
"It's okay. You have us, we'll stay together, okay?" said Adam.
"O..okay then", said Noah.
After few minutes investigating, they all enter a classroom which is on the 4th floor.
"Why we here? I thought this floor is closed for maintenance", said Melly.
"This floor is where the workers committed suicide", said Adam.
"What? But why?" asked Noah.
"Because...they being disturbed by a ghost that died around this school. I forgot to tell you that there was a girl walking around this construction area and then she died", said Zack.
"How...how she died?" asked Noah.
"She died because of there is a concrete pipe hits her and she didn't realize there is pipe falls down to her. Actually, the rope that carry the pipe broken and then hits her. She died at the incident location", said Adam.
"Ohh, please stop it. I'm feeling scared now", said Melly.
"Let's go home", said Adam.
When they want to open the door, the door is locked.
"What? The door is locked!" said Zack.
"What? Oh no, maybe the ghost see us came here and then locked us here", said Melly.
And then, Zack received a message by his friend, David.
"Hey Zack. Are you at the school? Get out of there!"
"What are you talking about?"
"You with who?"
"I'm with Adam, Melly and Noah. Why?"
"No no no...get out of there right now!"
"We can't! We're being locked in the classroom in 4th floor! You have to help us!"
"Alright I will call for help. But you all still in danger!"
"What are you talking about?"
"The...the ghost is with you right?"
"What? No, we didn't see anything yet. Maybe the ghost locked us inside here."
"Oh no. You didn't know the full story of this school?"
"What is it?"
And then suddenly his phone is dead.
"Oh no, my phone's battery is dead", said Zack.
"What David said?" asked Noah.
"He said he will call somebody to rescue us. And then..." Zack stopped his words.
"And then what?" asked Melly.
"He...he said that we didn't know the full story of this school", said Zack.
"What is it?" asked Adam.
Suddenly, they heard Noah chuckled.
"Hehehehehehe", Noah chuckled.
"What's wrong with you Noah? We all scared and then you chuckled?" asked Zack.
"So he did warned you right? But you all won't listened. Hehehehe" said Noah but her sound is different.
"Noah? Are you okay?" asked Melly.
"Did you want to know the full story? Did you want to know who's the girl that being hit at that incident", asked Noah and her sound still different.
Suddenly, bloods came out from all of Noah's body and they three shocked with Noah's condition.
"The name of the girl is...NOAH! And I am Noah, the girl that being hit and died at that incident!" said Noah and her intonation is angry.
Her body is full with blood and her eyes turning red.
"N...No way! You...you're the...the girl that being hit?" asked Melly.
"David give you the warning, but why you all didn't listened to him? Why you want to find me? This school shouldn't be built. I haunted the workers and they all committed suicide! But they still can finished this building. Because of this building, I died! I'm here because of my revenge on them! They made me died! My parents very sad see me gone because I'm the only child of them", said Noah in angry intonation.
"N...Noah please! Please don't kill us! We don't want to died!" cried Melly.
"I want you all to died! But...but I can't", said Noah and then she stopped and cried.
"I...I don't want my death story being told by everyone here. I just want to go in peace, that's all! I don't want to hear the history of this building! When you all keeping telling this story, I'm feel so angry that I want to kill everyone that told and spread this story", said Noah.
'Noah, we all your friend. Although we know that, you already dead but you still our friend. We're so sorry that this story is spreading", said Zack.
"It's...it's okay. Can...can I ask for your favor? This is may be my last favor to all of you? Can you all do it?" said Noah.
"We try, Noah", said Adam.
"Can you...tell the teachers to do a ceremony for remembering me? I must go peacefully so that no one will got killed again. Actually, many people want to find me to see if I really exist and I...I killed them because once they enter here, they'll never return. But...but I can't do it to you three...because you three are my friends. No, my best friend! Can you do it?" said Noah.
"We will, Noah", said Melly.
The next day, they three informed the principal and the principal tell the students and teachers for remembering her and they all do a ceremony so that she can leave in peace. And the name of the school is changed to Noah High School for remembering her.
After the ceremony, Noah go meet Adam, Zack and Melly before she leave.
"Thanks so much my friends. I'm really appreciate of what you all have done", said Noah.
"You're welcome, Noah. Although your story will being told and told, I hope you can rest in peace, okay? We all gonna miss you and we promised we'll not forget you", said Melly.
And then, they three hugged Noah as a goodbye hug before Noah leave.
"Again, thanks so much. Now I can rest in peace, I have to go now. I'll see you in the next world, my friends", said Noah and then she disappeared.
And that's it. That's the story of the haunted high school. The high school is not haunted anymore because they already made Noah to rest in peace so that she won't think about the incident anymore. For Adam, Zack and Melly, they will not forget about what happened to them and they promised to always remembered Noah, even though she's dead long time ago.
CHAPTER 4: MELANCHOLIA HOSPITAL
CHAPTER 5: THE MELANCHOLIA CARNIVAL CIRCUS
Part 1: Introduction
Once upon a time in Melancholia, there was a carnival. Among the most famous exhibits was the circus, called the Melancholia Carnival Circus, or the MCC. Even though it seemed bright and nice, it had some dark secrets within it.
It just so happened that on one fateful day, a few kids came to the carnival.
"Hey, where do you guys want to go to?" asked Ben, the leader of their gang.
"Up to you," the others replied.
"Okay then, if it's up to me, then I choose...well I choose the circus!" exclaimed Ben. "I heard that it's a pretty magical and nice place."
"Okay, then let's go!" all of them shouted.
"I have a bad feeling about this," Arnold whispered under his breath.
They then went into the circus together.
"Look at how big the circus is!" exclaimed Catherine. "It looks bigger on the inside than it looks in the outside!"
"Yeah, it's quite big, alright," James said.
"Okay, so where to?" asked Mary.
Suddenly, a clown approached them. "Hi, kids! Are you here for the show? It starts in forty five minutes," she said.
"Well, what could we do until then?" asked Ben.
"We have arcade machines, puppets, a play area, a gift shop and a hall of mirrors and weird stuff."
"Okay, so where do you guys want to go to?" asked Ben.
"Hmmm... What if we all go to our own places of interest and meet up here forty minutes later?" asked James.
"Great idea," remarked Ben. "Let's do that. See you guys here forty minutes later," Ben said as they went off on their own separate ways.
Catherine went off to see the puppets. "Wow, there are so many different puppets!" exclaimed Catherine.
"Yes, there are," said a voice.
Catherine turned around and saw a chubby man. "Hi, I am Robin, the ventriloquist. I specialize in the puppeteer section."
"Hello, Robin. My name is Catherine," said Catherine. "Hey, don't you think that the puppets really look so life like?" commented Catherine.
"Well, each of them have a story behind their creation," said Robin. "And I know every single one of their backstories."
"You mean that you made every single puppet here yourself?" asked Catherine out of curiosity.
"Yes, indeed I have. Anyway, do you want to see a puppet performance?" asked Robin.
"Okay," replied Catherine. "Why not?"
"What performance do you want?" Robin asked. "A ventriloquist act or a puppet show?"
"I want a puppet show," replied Catherine. "I like puppets more, anyway," she added.
"Same here," said Robin. "Puppets seem to be more life like than dummies. Anyway, please give me a moment while I find my puppet. Why don't you take a seat?" Robin said while he searched for his puppet.
"Okay, I found it."
"Wow, a life sized puppet of Pinocchio!" exclaimed Catherine.
"Yes, I will show you a play of Pinocchio."
"I can't wait for it to start!" shouted Catherine excitedly.
"And it never will end, my dear sweet Catherine," Robin muttered to himself. "It will never end."
Part 2: The Ventriloquist
"It will start soon," said Robin. "Let me put the puppet on stage first."
"Why doesn't it have any strings?" asked Catherine while pointing towards the puppet.
"Oh, well, since we live in a modern era, I figured that people don't really appreciate old school puppets anymore, so I created puppets that have two modes, which are auto mode and manual mode."
"That sounds cool!"
"Thus, the puppets can be controlled by using a remote," Robin said. "Plus, with the huge size of Pinocchio here, it's hard to control him manually using strings."
"Okay, he's all set up and ready to go. Let me begin the play. There once was a carpenter called Geppetto," Robin said while a puppet man went onto the stage. "He longed so much for a son. So, he carved a wooden puppet boy and named it Pinocchio," he said when he started to move Pinocchio. "Now, Pinocchio was just a puppet, but Geppetto wished so much that Pinocchio would become a real boy. So, the angels sent down Aphrodite. Then, Aphrodite turned Pinocchio into a living boy," Robin said when he switched Pinocchio to auto mode.
"However, Pinocchio got lonely as Geppetto was often busy woodworking. So, Geppetto called upon Aphrodite again to create a companion for his son."
Suddenly, Aphrodite's puppet's eyes shot out two green beams towards Catherine.
"Aaah! What just happened?" asked Catherine in fear.
"You will be Pinocchio's companion, my dear. Take a look at your clothes."
And so, she did and discovered that her clothing had changed. It started to look the same as the clothing that Pinocchio weared. At about the same time, her braids turned reddish brown.
"How could this happen!?" exclaimed Catherine.
"Oh, this, my dear, is black magic," Robin said. "Now that the clothing is done, it is time for you to change. Take a look at your feet, why don't you?"
She looked down in horror as her legs had turned into wood. Soon, she felt a strange feeling in her abdomen. Her body was also turning into wood! The curse was gradually going up her body, eventually reaching her chest.
"Ah, I feel like it's harder to breathe now!" she exclaimed.
"What's the matter with that? You won't need to breathe anyway," Robin said with a smug grin.
"Aaah! My arms are also turning into wood! Please stop this, please, I'm begging you, Robin. Make me back to normal!" she wept.
"No, I won't. This is your fate and you have to face it, maybe even embrace it. You told me you liked puppets, right? Why not enjoy being one?"
"You know that's not what I meant," Catherine said. "Help! Somebody help! I'm turning into wood!" she shouted.
"Nobody will hear your screams," said Robin. "It's helpless."
"Help me! I am turning into..."
Suddenly, Catherine's screaming stopped. The curse had reached her mouth and she was unable to talk. However, tears still came flowing out of her eyes. She felt helpless as she knew that this would not stop until her transformation was over.
In just a few minutes, her entire face had turned into wood, but the transformation was not complete.
All of a sudden, a tiny door appeared on Catherine's chest.
Robin opened the chest and took out Catherine's heart.
"Now that the transformation is complete, you will be my puppet forever," said Robin.
Suddenly, Catherine could see.
"Hey, I am still conscious," she thought to herself. "Am I really a puppet now?" she asked herself while trying to look at her arms. However, it was to no avail. She couldn't move any of her limbs or look anywhere but in front.
"It is time to activate you, Catherine, or should I say, Pinocchia?"
"Pinocchia?" she wondered. "Well, maybe being Pinocchio's puppet friend wouldn't be so bad. Maybe it's..." she thought, when Robin activated her. She lost consciousness as black magic took over her wooden body and controlled it.
"Hello, Pinocchio," Pinocchia greeted Pinocchio while smiling.
"Pinocchio, here is your new companion, Pinocchia," Robin said to Pinocchio.
"Hello, Pinocchia," said Pinocchio. "Let's be friends forever."
"You will live here, performing with me forever, Catherine," said Robin.
Part 3: The Magician
Meanwhile, in another part of the circus, James and Mary were visiting the gift shop. Suddenly, James felt like he had to use the washroom.
"Hey, Mary, I'm going to the washroom for a while, okay?" asked James.
"Certainly, if you have to go, then you have to go," she replied.
"Be back in a jiffy!"
However, much to James's disappointment, he could find the rest room. Instead, he found a big Prussian blue tent. He noticed that nobody was there.
"Might as well try to find a restroom here," he thought to himself.
He then took a small stroll and walked inside the tent. He looked around and saw many old posters and newspaper clippings about a magician's acts. Then, in the middle of the tent, he saw a round table covered with a Prussian blue cloth. He immediately noticed that a crystal ball was on the table. He felt curious and sat down on one of the three chairs placed around the table.
"Oh, crystal ball," he called out, "Where is the restroom?"
To his surprise, the crystal ball replied him, but not in the way he wanted. Small white words appeared on the crystal ball. It said,
"The place you must go
Is a place that is always locked
Just find the black object
And put it where it belongs."
He thought for a while about the poem and noticed that there was a black top hat on the table too. He then took it and put it where he thought it belonged - on his head. Unfortunately, he didn't notice a black key on the table that was the key to the toilet.
Suddenly, he had a feeling that something bad was going to happen. The crystal ball reacted to this, saying,
"You are over now,
For it has just begun.
Embrace your new life
'Cause you just rolled your dice."
He looked around himself in fear and noticed that his green hoodie had turned into a black coat. His blue sport shoes had also turned into a pair of polished black leather shoes. He noticed that he was wearing white gloves. He freaked out and tried to remove the gloves and his shoes but it didn't work.
All of a sudden, a cloud of white mist appeared in front of him. He saw a silouhette of a man wearing a top hat.
"Who are you?" he asked, feeling that it became harder to think clearly.
"Who am I? The real question is 'Who are you?'" a voice replied. "Just shut up now and look at the clock," he said as he showed James his pocket watch.
"Look at it," he said while oscillating his pocket watch left and right constantly. James tried very hard to look away but he found that he couldn't.
"Concentrate on it. Yes, you're getting sleepy."
Soon, James fell fast asleep.
"Now, you will become a magician forever, and nothing can change that. However, your former name and memories will remain, even though slightly altered. When I snap my fingers, you will wake up and the curse will have it's effect."
"Snap!" the man snapped his fingers. Suddenly, James woke up and the man disappeared along with the cloud of white mist.
"What? What just happened to me?" asked James to himself. "Never mind, then. I still have to practice my magic trick."
"James, oh, James, where are you?" he could hear Mary shouting.
"I'm here," said James, running out of the tent to see Mary.
"What are you doing here?" asked Mary. "Did you find the toilet?"
"Well, yes, I did," said James. "And look what else I found! I'm a magician now! Would you like to see a performance?"
"Yes, please," replied Mary.
"Okay, then please take a seat," James instructed while pointing at the chairs around the table.
"I'm going to show you the class trick of the bunny in the hat! But first, I need a volunteer."
"Me! Pick me!" exclaimed Mary enthusiastically while raising her hand.
"Okay, Mary, come here," said James. "Now give a big round of applause to Mary!"
"Clap... Clap... Clap..." Mary could hear even though there was no one around. It was disturbing to her.
"Listen, Mary. The trick is simple. I, the great Jamini, will put you into my hat and take you out," explained James.
"Okay," said Mary. "Let's start."
"First, wear this on your head," said James while handing over a hair band in the shape of bunny ears.
"Okay. Now what?"
"Now, you will enter my hat."
So, James put his hat over Mary's head and began to drag it down slowly. First, Mary's head went into the hat. Then, her chest followed, along with her abdomen. Soon, Mary's whole body went into the hat.
After a while, James thought that it was time to pull Mary out. "Time to pull Mary out of the hat!" he said, while pulling out Mary. First came her ears and head, her chest and body, then the her legs. However, instead of wearing her black dress, she appeared wearing clothes that a bunny girl would wear.
"Hello, sweetie," Mary said to James. "What magic trick are we going to do today?"
"Lots of tricks, lots of them," said replied James.
Part 4: The Balloon Boy
Somewhere else in the big top, Ben was at the arcade area.
"This feels boring," he thought to himself.
Suddenly, he heard some footsteps. "Would you like to buy some balloons?"
He turned around and saw a tall man, probably in his 30s. "Who are you?" he asked.
"Oh, me? I'm the balloon man. I sell balloons for a living. I'm John," the man answered. "Would you like a balloon?"
"Oh, yes, please," said Ben. "Could I have that green one?"
"Good choice," said John, as he handed the balloon to Ben.
"How much for the balloon?" Ben asked.
"Oh, it's free, as long as you agree to join me," he said, smiling towards Ben.
"Join you?" Ben asked, raising his eyebrows.
"Yes. You see, I sometimes feel that this balloon stand needs a mascot. And I got the perfect idea for one. I even created a suit of the mascot. However, i just can't find a person suitable enough to wear the suit."
"What do you mean?" asked Ben.
"Well, first of all, I can't really find anybody who is so enthusiastic about balloons like me," John said. "And what's more, the suit is only suitable for someone who is about your size."
"Hey, I could be the mascot!" Ben said excitedly.
"Hmmm... I don't know..." said John. "Are you really sure?"
"Of course I'm sure," Ben replied. "I've never been any surer before."
"Okay, if you say so," said John. "Put on this suit, please," John said, giving him the suit.
"This is quite a thick suit," Ben remarked.
"Just to make sure that nobody will ever know that it's you under that suit."
"Okay. I'm done."
"You look magnificent in that suit!" exclaimed John. "Now to make it permanent."
"Permanent?"
"Yes. You will be the balloon stand mascot until the end of time."
"Zzzzz..." Suddenly, a green beam shot Ben.
"Aaah! What was that?"
"Never mind that. Just enjoy your transformation."
Ben looked at the suit and noticed that it was shrinking.
"What's going on!?"
"Oh, the suit is just adjusting its own size to make you look more natural," John explained.
"More natural?" asked Ben.
Suddenly, Ben felt that it had become harder to breathe as his chest was pressed down on by the suit.
"It's getting hard to breathe," said Ben. "Is this the work of the green beam?" he asked.
Ben stared at John but John didn't reply. Instead, he pointed at Ben's arms. Ben got shocked as he noticed that his arms were gaining a shiny luster.
"What's happening to my arms?"
"Well, I could tell you, but where's the fun in that?" asked John.
Ben glared at John angrily when he started to feel that his limbs were getting numb.
"My arms! I feel like I'm losing control of them!"
"Never mind, you will eventually get used to it."
Soon, he felt that his limbs were stiff as sticks. Not only that, he also felt that his body had changed too. He felt that he couldn't turn around anymore, and his neck was starting to feel stiff too.
"What are you doing to me!? Can you reverse it?"
"No," said John. "I'm afraid not."
"Somebody help m..."
The effects of the green beam had already reached Ben's entire head. He was immobile.
"What have I become?" he thought to himself.
"Here, go on and promote the balloon stand," said John while putting some balloon strings in Ben's right hand, and a sign in the left, saying,"BALLOONS FOR SALE! COME AND GET THEM!"
"You are the balloon stand's new mascot," said John. "From now until forever," he added.
"No, this can't be happening!" Ben thought.
Part 5: The Clown
"Hello, sweetie. What are you doing here?" asked a clown girl. "You're not supposed to be at the backstage," she pointed out.
"Oh, well, I just thought that I could get to know the clowns," explained Kelly.
"Oh, you want to get to know the clowns, huh?" asked the clown. "Okay, then. Let's begin our tour," the clown said as she brought Kelly inside.
"First of all, we have the clowns. Say hi, gals. This is... Yeah, what's your name, sweetie?"
"My name is Kelly."
"Okay, then. Say hi to Kelly."
"Hi," the clowns greeted.
"She's on tour here to see how we clowns do our job, ain't that right, sweetie?"
"Well, we hope you'll enjoy it," a clown said.
"Next, is the testing rooms. This is the place where we test out our new tricks and gags. Look, there's a clown testing a gag now!"
"I have saved the best for last," the clown said. "Come on, follow me," she said as she showed Kelly a 'follow me' sign. Kelly then followed her.
"What's that room?" asked Kelly, pointing at a door.
"That room is on limits. It's for clowns only," the clown said. "Which you will become," she muttered under her breath.
"Okay, never mind." Kelly said, disappointed that she couldn't enter that room.
"Last but not least, there is the stage, where you will perform."
"Me?" asked Kelly, feeling that the clown had made an error.
"Yes, you," the clown replied with confidence. "Let us begin your transformation."
"My transformation?"
The clown put her index finger in front of her lips and said, "Shhh..." Then, she pulled out a clown hammer from thin air and hit Kelly's forehead.
"Squeak!" the plastic hammer went.
All of a sudden, Kelly lost consciousness. After a while, she regained it, just to find herself tied to a chair in a room will walls made of titanium alloy.
"What? What just happened?"
Suddenly, the clown girl appeared in front of her.
"Remember your transformation?" she asked as she put a red clown nose onto Kelly's nose.
"What? What are you doing to me?"
"Nothing, sweetie, nothing."
"Just let me out of this chair this instant!" Kelly yelled, shaking the chair rigorously as she was struggling to break free.
"Okay, I will," the clown girl said.
"No! Let me out this instant!" she continued to shout. "Wait, what? You will?" she asked, realising that the clown girl agreed.
"Why not? You have to get used to your new clown shoes anyway," the clown said while untying the ropes that held Kelly down.
"My clown shoes?" she said. She looked down at her shoes and saw that they were indeed bigger, the left one orange and the right one cyan.
"What did you do to my shoes and feet?" she asked, feeling her feet growing, adjusting to her enlarged shoes.
"What I did? You should be grateful that I'm doing this to you, sweetie," she said in an angry tone. "You know, not everyone gets this chance."
"But I don't want this chance!" she exclaimed. "I never even asked for it!"
"Never mind that, just focus on your transformation," the clown said.
"What? What happened to my leggings?" she exclaimed, seeing that their colours have changed.
"Just shut up."
"Now I have a skirt too?" asked Kelly, who now had a skirt around her waist. It had bells attached to it.
"Just shut up."
Later, she discovered that she also had a jester cap with bells on it.
Soon, after a while, her whole attire had changed. It looked similar to the one that the clown girl was wearing, but with different colours.
"Am I... Am I turning into you? Is my transformation done?"
"Not quite, you're not really turning into me, but good call," she remarked. "For your transformation, well, it hasn't ended yet."
"So, my clothing has changed into something humiliating," she said. "The worst is past, though I don't know how I will ever be able to show my face like this," Kelly said.
"The worst? Humiliation?" the clown girl said. "No, your humiliation will increase. Let's change your hairstyle."
"My hairstyle? But it's perfect! Not my hairstyle!"
"Oh, let's add some pigtails," the clown said. Suddenly, two short curly pigtails appeared at the side of Kelly's head.
"Pigtails? Is there more?"
"You want more?" the clown girl asked rhetorically. "Then have some more," she said as she pointed towards Kelly's pigtails. All of a sudden, bells appeared at both of Kelly's pigtails, one on the left and one on the right.
"No! I didn't mean... Well, you know what I meant."
"Your transformation is nearly over," the clown girl said.
"Thankfully."
"Last but not least, there are the giggles."
"The giggles?" Kelly asked. Suddenly, she couldn't stop smiling. Soon, she even started to laugh and giggle.
"Hahahaha!"
Kelly felt embarrassed by her constant and uncontrollable laughing and immediately closed her mouth with her gloves.
"Gloves!" she thought. "When did I wear gloves?"
"You know you can't stop the laughter," the clown girl said. "So let it out."
All of a sudden, Kelly lost control of her hands as well and her hands moved away from her mouth. "Hahahaha!" she continued laughing out.
Soon, her hair turned a bright shade of green.
"I can't stop this..." Kelly thought to herself. "I can't even think straight anymore..."
"I can't stop... Hahaha!"
"Just a little while longer, sweetie."
Indeed, after a while, Kelly's face turned white.
"It is done."
Suddenly, Kelly's mind went blank. She stopped laughing and just looked ahead, not moving at all. Her consciousness faded and she couldn't think at all.
A few seconds later, her consciousness returned, as a whole but altered.
"Hey! I'm a clown now!" exclaimed Kelly. "I like this life!"
"Glad you like it," said the clown girl. "What's your name, sweetie? Every clown has to have a name."
"Hmm... My name is.. My name is Belly Kelly!" Kelly said, honking her clown nose and enjoying it.
"Welcome to the big top," the clown said. "Hope you'll enjoy living here forever!"
"Sure will!"
Once upon a time, there is a high school in Melancholia. This school used to be abandoned due to money cost and other reasons but after 2 years the building is completed and it's open to everyone that want to continue their study in secondary school.
When recess time, Melly, Adam, Noah and Zack sit together and tell about the history of their high school.
"Hey, did you know that our school before this is abandoned?" said Melly.
"I know. Everybody in Melancholia know about this. And also, I heard that our school construction is abandoned due to money cost", said Adam.
"Not only that. I heard that they said many workers died when the construction is on going. Some said that there are spirits disturbed them and many of them commited suicide here and also have a worker that being stucked by the construction cement and then he died", said Zack.
"Oh, please don't tell me these stories. It give me creeps", said Noah.
"Alright, we won't tell anymore. Hey, how about we do visit our school tonight? I want to see if this story is real", said Zack.
"What? Heck no! I won't go", said Noah.
"Come on, Noah! Are you scared?" asked Adam.
"No...no I'm not! I will go with you three tonight. We'll wait at the football field", said Noah.
"Great! But we need to avoid the security, if not we'll being busted and then we'll being mad by our parents. Just said that we all go to...the library, to study. Is it okay?" explained Adam.
"All right then! We'll see you all at the football field tonight. See you soon!" said Melly.
After that, they all leave except Noah.
"Hehehehe...so they want to see what really happens huh? Well, you all will see it tonight! And I will make sure they won't tell this story because they won't get out alive. You will know who I really am! And also once they enter, they'll never return! Hahahaha", said Noah in her heart.
That night, Melly, Noah, Adam and Zack met at the school football field as they promised to meet.
"All right, we already pass the guard. Now to see if this storied is real", said Zack.
"Ohh, I'm scared!" said Noah.
"It's okay. You have us, we'll stay together, okay?" said Adam.
"O..okay then", said Noah.
After few minutes investigating, they all enter a classroom which is on the 4th floor.
"Why we here? I thought this floor is closed for maintenance", said Melly.
"This floor is where the workers committed suicide", said Adam.
"What? But why?" asked Noah.
"Because...they being disturbed by a ghost that died around this school. I forgot to tell you that there was a girl walking around this construction area and then she died", said Zack.
"How...how she died?" asked Noah.
"She died because of there is a concrete pipe hits her and she didn't realize there is pipe falls down to her. Actually, the rope that carry the pipe broken and then hits her. She died at the incident location", said Adam.
"Ohh, please stop it. I'm feeling scared now", said Melly.
"Let's go home", said Adam.
When they want to open the door, the door is locked.
"What? The door is locked!" said Zack.
"What? Oh no, maybe the ghost see us came here and then locked us here", said Melly.
And then, Zack received a message by his friend, David.
"Hey Zack. Are you at the school? Get out of there!"
"What are you talking about?"
"You with who?"
"I'm with Adam, Melly and Noah. Why?"
"No no no...get out of there right now!"
"We can't! We're being locked in the classroom in 4th floor! You have to help us!"
"Alright I will call for help. But you all still in danger!"
"What are you talking about?"
"The...the ghost is with you right?"
"What? No, we didn't see anything yet. Maybe the ghost locked us inside here."
"Oh no. You didn't know the full story of this school?"
"What is it?"
And then suddenly his phone is dead.
"Oh no, my phone's battery is dead", said Zack.
"What David said?" asked Noah.
"He said he will call somebody to rescue us. And then..." Zack stopped his words.
"And then what?" asked Melly.
"He...he said that we didn't know the full story of this school", said Zack.
"What is it?" asked Adam.
Suddenly, they heard Noah chuckled.
"Hehehehehehe", Noah chuckled.
"What's wrong with you Noah? We all scared and then you chuckled?" asked Zack.
"So he did warned you right? But you all won't listened. Hehehehe" said Noah but her sound is different.
"Noah? Are you okay?" asked Melly.
"Did you want to know the full story? Did you want to know who's the girl that being hit at that incident", asked Noah and her sound still different.
Suddenly, bloods came out from all of Noah's body and they three shocked with Noah's condition.
"The name of the girl is...NOAH! And I am Noah, the girl that being hit and died at that incident!" said Noah and her intonation is angry.
Her body is full with blood and her eyes turning red.
"N...No way! You...you're the...the girl that being hit?" asked Melly.
"David give you the warning, but why you all didn't listened to him? Why you want to find me? This school shouldn't be built. I haunted the workers and they all committed suicide! But they still can finished this building. Because of this building, I died! I'm here because of my revenge on them! They made me died! My parents very sad see me gone because I'm the only child of them", said Noah in angry intonation.
"N...Noah please! Please don't kill us! We don't want to died!" cried Melly.
"I want you all to died! But...but I can't", said Noah and then she stopped and cried.
"I...I don't want my death story being told by everyone here. I just want to go in peace, that's all! I don't want to hear the history of this building! When you all keeping telling this story, I'm feel so angry that I want to kill everyone that told and spread this story", said Noah.
'Noah, we all your friend. Although we know that, you already dead but you still our friend. We're so sorry that this story is spreading", said Zack.
"It's...it's okay. Can...can I ask for your favor? This is may be my last favor to all of you? Can you all do it?" said Noah.
"We try, Noah", said Adam.
"Can you...tell the teachers to do a ceremony for remembering me? I must go peacefully so that no one will got killed again. Actually, many people want to find me to see if I really exist and I...I killed them because once they enter here, they'll never return. But...but I can't do it to you three...because you three are my friends. No, my best friend! Can you do it?" said Noah.
"We will, Noah", said Melly.
The next day, they three informed the principal and the principal tell the students and teachers for remembering her and they all do a ceremony so that she can leave in peace. And the name of the school is changed to Noah High School for remembering her.
After the ceremony, Noah go meet Adam, Zack and Melly before she leave.
"Thanks so much my friends. I'm really appreciate of what you all have done", said Noah.
"You're welcome, Noah. Although your story will being told and told, I hope you can rest in peace, okay? We all gonna miss you and we promised we'll not forget you", said Melly.
And then, they three hugged Noah as a goodbye hug before Noah leave.
"Again, thanks so much. Now I can rest in peace, I have to go now. I'll see you in the next world, my friends", said Noah and then she disappeared.
And that's it. That's the story of the haunted high school. The high school is not haunted anymore because they already made Noah to rest in peace so that she won't think about the incident anymore. For Adam, Zack and Melly, they will not forget about what happened to them and they promised to always remembered Noah, even though she's dead long time ago.
CHAPTER 4: MELANCHOLIA HOSPITAL
Once upon a time at Melancholia, there's a building called Melancholia Hospital. There are many history on that building including many people died and committed suicide. After that, the government build a new hospital called Melancholia City Medical Centre.
One day, Suzy received a phone call from Melancholia Hospital.
"Hello, who's this?" asked Suzy.
"Alicia is in intensive care at Melancholia Hospital. I hope that you can come here as soon as possible. I can't reveal my identity and I hope to see you soon", said the unknown caller.
"What happened? Who's that?" asked Ben.
"The caller said that Alicia is in Melancholia Hospital and she's very sick now", said Suzy.
"Wait...did you say Melancholia Hospital? I thought that building is abandoned now because we already have Melancholia City Medical Centre", said Melly.
"I think that might be a prank call", said Aaron.
"I think we need to investigate. We need to go to Melancholia Hospital to find out", said Suzy.
"What? Are you crazy?" said Melly.
"We need to know Alicia is there or not. She might be needs our help", said Suzy.
"She's right! We need to go find her there", said Alan.
"All right then! Let's go! Alicia, we're coming", said Ben.
"We're arrived, but why the hospital looks dark? It should be have electricity right?" asked Suzy.

"Well duh, the hospital is abandoned for long time remember? Since we have the medical centre, this hospital never being used again", said Aaron.
Suddenly, they saw that Alan and Ben are missing.
"Wait...where is Alan and Ben? They...missing!?" said Suzy.
"We need to find them quickly", said Melly.
After few minutes later, they went to the 3rd floor of the hospital. And then, they saw a vault and they shocked that they saw Alicia, Alan and Ben are in a tube and they look different.
"Why they all look different. Looks like they being mutated!" said Suzy.
"Who doing this to them? It's so cruel!" said Melly.
"We need to find who doing this to them", said Aaron.
They then later went to the 4th floor and they saw a people at that floor. They then went to him.
"Hey who are you?" asked Aaron.
"Ohh, looks like you're arrived. Very good! You already visit you friends? Hehehe. Oh before that, I'm Dr. Jay", said Dr. Jay.
"What are you doing to our friends?" asked Suzy.
"Oh, nothing! I just mutated them only so that I can earn some money", said Dr. Jay.
"You can't do this to our friend!" said Melly.
"Why can't? I just want money only. They didn't important for you guys right?" asked Dr. Jay.
"They're our friends and we will report this to the authority about your evil doings", said Suzy.
"You will not doing that! Because you will never get out here alive! Hahahaha!" said Dr. Jay.
He then later attacked them and one of them which is Melly is injured and then later all of them is defeated.
"YOU ALL WILL BE MY MUTANT TEST FOREVER! MUAHAHAHA!" laughed Dr. Jay.
The next day, Melancholia Newspaper shows that the headlines about 6 of them:
"6 FRIENDS DISAPPEAR OUT OF NOWHERE!"
Actually, Dr Jay keep them all in that hospital and they become his mutant test. They now disappear and never returns home after that.
CHAPTER 5: THE MELANCHOLIA CARNIVAL CIRCUS
Part 1: Introduction
Once upon a time in Melancholia, there was a carnival. Among the most famous exhibits was the circus, called the Melancholia Carnival Circus, or the MCC. Even though it seemed bright and nice, it had some dark secrets within it.
It just so happened that on one fateful day, a few kids came to the carnival.
"Hey, where do you guys want to go to?" asked Ben, the leader of their gang.
"Up to you," the others replied.
"Okay then, if it's up to me, then I choose...well I choose the circus!" exclaimed Ben. "I heard that it's a pretty magical and nice place."
"Okay, then let's go!" all of them shouted.
"I have a bad feeling about this," Arnold whispered under his breath.
They then went into the circus together.
"Look at how big the circus is!" exclaimed Catherine. "It looks bigger on the inside than it looks in the outside!"
"Yeah, it's quite big, alright," James said.
"Okay, so where to?" asked Mary.
Suddenly, a clown approached them. "Hi, kids! Are you here for the show? It starts in forty five minutes," she said.
"Well, what could we do until then?" asked Ben.
"We have arcade machines, puppets, a play area, a gift shop and a hall of mirrors and weird stuff."
"Okay, so where do you guys want to go to?" asked Ben.
"Hmmm... What if we all go to our own places of interest and meet up here forty minutes later?" asked James.
"Great idea," remarked Ben. "Let's do that. See you guys here forty minutes later," Ben said as they went off on their own separate ways.
Catherine went off to see the puppets. "Wow, there are so many different puppets!" exclaimed Catherine.
"Yes, there are," said a voice.
Catherine turned around and saw a chubby man. "Hi, I am Robin, the ventriloquist. I specialize in the puppeteer section."
"Hello, Robin. My name is Catherine," said Catherine. "Hey, don't you think that the puppets really look so life like?" commented Catherine.
"Well, each of them have a story behind their creation," said Robin. "And I know every single one of their backstories."
"You mean that you made every single puppet here yourself?" asked Catherine out of curiosity.
"Yes, indeed I have. Anyway, do you want to see a puppet performance?" asked Robin.
"Okay," replied Catherine. "Why not?"
"What performance do you want?" Robin asked. "A ventriloquist act or a puppet show?"
"I want a puppet show," replied Catherine. "I like puppets more, anyway," she added.
"Same here," said Robin. "Puppets seem to be more life like than dummies. Anyway, please give me a moment while I find my puppet. Why don't you take a seat?" Robin said while he searched for his puppet.
"Okay, I found it."
"Wow, a life sized puppet of Pinocchio!" exclaimed Catherine.
"Yes, I will show you a play of Pinocchio."
"I can't wait for it to start!" shouted Catherine excitedly.
"And it never will end, my dear sweet Catherine," Robin muttered to himself. "It will never end."
Part 2: The Ventriloquist
"It will start soon," said Robin. "Let me put the puppet on stage first."
"Why doesn't it have any strings?" asked Catherine while pointing towards the puppet.
"Oh, well, since we live in a modern era, I figured that people don't really appreciate old school puppets anymore, so I created puppets that have two modes, which are auto mode and manual mode."
"That sounds cool!"
"Thus, the puppets can be controlled by using a remote," Robin said. "Plus, with the huge size of Pinocchio here, it's hard to control him manually using strings."
"Okay, he's all set up and ready to go. Let me begin the play. There once was a carpenter called Geppetto," Robin said while a puppet man went onto the stage. "He longed so much for a son. So, he carved a wooden puppet boy and named it Pinocchio," he said when he started to move Pinocchio. "Now, Pinocchio was just a puppet, but Geppetto wished so much that Pinocchio would become a real boy. So, the angels sent down Aphrodite. Then, Aphrodite turned Pinocchio into a living boy," Robin said when he switched Pinocchio to auto mode.
"However, Pinocchio got lonely as Geppetto was often busy woodworking. So, Geppetto called upon Aphrodite again to create a companion for his son."
Suddenly, Aphrodite's puppet's eyes shot out two green beams towards Catherine.
"Aaah! What just happened?" asked Catherine in fear.
"You will be Pinocchio's companion, my dear. Take a look at your clothes."
And so, she did and discovered that her clothing had changed. It started to look the same as the clothing that Pinocchio weared. At about the same time, her braids turned reddish brown.
"How could this happen!?" exclaimed Catherine.
"Oh, this, my dear, is black magic," Robin said. "Now that the clothing is done, it is time for you to change. Take a look at your feet, why don't you?"
She looked down in horror as her legs had turned into wood. Soon, she felt a strange feeling in her abdomen. Her body was also turning into wood! The curse was gradually going up her body, eventually reaching her chest.
"Ah, I feel like it's harder to breathe now!" she exclaimed.
"What's the matter with that? You won't need to breathe anyway," Robin said with a smug grin.
"Aaah! My arms are also turning into wood! Please stop this, please, I'm begging you, Robin. Make me back to normal!" she wept.
"No, I won't. This is your fate and you have to face it, maybe even embrace it. You told me you liked puppets, right? Why not enjoy being one?"
"You know that's not what I meant," Catherine said. "Help! Somebody help! I'm turning into wood!" she shouted.
"Nobody will hear your screams," said Robin. "It's helpless."
"Help me! I am turning into..."
Suddenly, Catherine's screaming stopped. The curse had reached her mouth and she was unable to talk. However, tears still came flowing out of her eyes. She felt helpless as she knew that this would not stop until her transformation was over.
In just a few minutes, her entire face had turned into wood, but the transformation was not complete.
All of a sudden, a tiny door appeared on Catherine's chest.
Robin opened the chest and took out Catherine's heart.
"Now that the transformation is complete, you will be my puppet forever," said Robin.
Suddenly, Catherine could see.
"Hey, I am still conscious," she thought to herself. "Am I really a puppet now?" she asked herself while trying to look at her arms. However, it was to no avail. She couldn't move any of her limbs or look anywhere but in front.
"It is time to activate you, Catherine, or should I say, Pinocchia?"
"Pinocchia?" she wondered. "Well, maybe being Pinocchio's puppet friend wouldn't be so bad. Maybe it's..." she thought, when Robin activated her. She lost consciousness as black magic took over her wooden body and controlled it.
"Hello, Pinocchio," Pinocchia greeted Pinocchio while smiling.
"Pinocchio, here is your new companion, Pinocchia," Robin said to Pinocchio.
"Hello, Pinocchia," said Pinocchio. "Let's be friends forever."
"You will live here, performing with me forever, Catherine," said Robin.
Part 3: The Magician
Meanwhile, in another part of the circus, James and Mary were visiting the gift shop. Suddenly, James felt like he had to use the washroom.
"Hey, Mary, I'm going to the washroom for a while, okay?" asked James.
"Certainly, if you have to go, then you have to go," she replied.
"Be back in a jiffy!"
However, much to James's disappointment, he could find the rest room. Instead, he found a big Prussian blue tent. He noticed that nobody was there.
"Might as well try to find a restroom here," he thought to himself.
He then took a small stroll and walked inside the tent. He looked around and saw many old posters and newspaper clippings about a magician's acts. Then, in the middle of the tent, he saw a round table covered with a Prussian blue cloth. He immediately noticed that a crystal ball was on the table. He felt curious and sat down on one of the three chairs placed around the table.
"Oh, crystal ball," he called out, "Where is the restroom?"
To his surprise, the crystal ball replied him, but not in the way he wanted. Small white words appeared on the crystal ball. It said,
"The place you must go
Is a place that is always locked
Just find the black object
And put it where it belongs."
He thought for a while about the poem and noticed that there was a black top hat on the table too. He then took it and put it where he thought it belonged - on his head. Unfortunately, he didn't notice a black key on the table that was the key to the toilet.
Suddenly, he had a feeling that something bad was going to happen. The crystal ball reacted to this, saying,
"You are over now,
For it has just begun.
Embrace your new life
'Cause you just rolled your dice."
He looked around himself in fear and noticed that his green hoodie had turned into a black coat. His blue sport shoes had also turned into a pair of polished black leather shoes. He noticed that he was wearing white gloves. He freaked out and tried to remove the gloves and his shoes but it didn't work.
All of a sudden, a cloud of white mist appeared in front of him. He saw a silouhette of a man wearing a top hat.
"Who are you?" he asked, feeling that it became harder to think clearly.
"Who am I? The real question is 'Who are you?'" a voice replied. "Just shut up now and look at the clock," he said as he showed James his pocket watch.
"Look at it," he said while oscillating his pocket watch left and right constantly. James tried very hard to look away but he found that he couldn't.
"Concentrate on it. Yes, you're getting sleepy."
Soon, James fell fast asleep.
"Now, you will become a magician forever, and nothing can change that. However, your former name and memories will remain, even though slightly altered. When I snap my fingers, you will wake up and the curse will have it's effect."
"Snap!" the man snapped his fingers. Suddenly, James woke up and the man disappeared along with the cloud of white mist.
"What? What just happened to me?" asked James to himself. "Never mind, then. I still have to practice my magic trick."
"James, oh, James, where are you?" he could hear Mary shouting.
"I'm here," said James, running out of the tent to see Mary.
"What are you doing here?" asked Mary. "Did you find the toilet?"
"Well, yes, I did," said James. "And look what else I found! I'm a magician now! Would you like to see a performance?"
"Yes, please," replied Mary.
"Okay, then please take a seat," James instructed while pointing at the chairs around the table.
"I'm going to show you the class trick of the bunny in the hat! But first, I need a volunteer."
"Me! Pick me!" exclaimed Mary enthusiastically while raising her hand.
"Okay, Mary, come here," said James. "Now give a big round of applause to Mary!"
"Clap... Clap... Clap..." Mary could hear even though there was no one around. It was disturbing to her.
"Listen, Mary. The trick is simple. I, the great Jamini, will put you into my hat and take you out," explained James.
"Okay," said Mary. "Let's start."
"First, wear this on your head," said James while handing over a hair band in the shape of bunny ears.
"Okay. Now what?"
"Now, you will enter my hat."
So, James put his hat over Mary's head and began to drag it down slowly. First, Mary's head went into the hat. Then, her chest followed, along with her abdomen. Soon, Mary's whole body went into the hat.
After a while, James thought that it was time to pull Mary out. "Time to pull Mary out of the hat!" he said, while pulling out Mary. First came her ears and head, her chest and body, then the her legs. However, instead of wearing her black dress, she appeared wearing clothes that a bunny girl would wear.
"Hello, sweetie," Mary said to James. "What magic trick are we going to do today?"
"Lots of tricks, lots of them," said replied James.
Part 4: The Balloon Boy
Somewhere else in the big top, Ben was at the arcade area.
"This feels boring," he thought to himself.
Suddenly, he heard some footsteps. "Would you like to buy some balloons?"
He turned around and saw a tall man, probably in his 30s. "Who are you?" he asked.
"Oh, me? I'm the balloon man. I sell balloons for a living. I'm John," the man answered. "Would you like a balloon?"
"Oh, yes, please," said Ben. "Could I have that green one?"
"Good choice," said John, as he handed the balloon to Ben.
"How much for the balloon?" Ben asked.
"Oh, it's free, as long as you agree to join me," he said, smiling towards Ben.
"Join you?" Ben asked, raising his eyebrows.
"Yes. You see, I sometimes feel that this balloon stand needs a mascot. And I got the perfect idea for one. I even created a suit of the mascot. However, i just can't find a person suitable enough to wear the suit."
"What do you mean?" asked Ben.
"Well, first of all, I can't really find anybody who is so enthusiastic about balloons like me," John said. "And what's more, the suit is only suitable for someone who is about your size."
"Hey, I could be the mascot!" Ben said excitedly.
"Hmmm... I don't know..." said John. "Are you really sure?"
"Of course I'm sure," Ben replied. "I've never been any surer before."
"Okay, if you say so," said John. "Put on this suit, please," John said, giving him the suit.
"This is quite a thick suit," Ben remarked.
"Just to make sure that nobody will ever know that it's you under that suit."
"Okay. I'm done."
"You look magnificent in that suit!" exclaimed John. "Now to make it permanent."
"Permanent?"
"Yes. You will be the balloon stand mascot until the end of time."
"Zzzzz..." Suddenly, a green beam shot Ben.
"Aaah! What was that?"
"Never mind that. Just enjoy your transformation."
Ben looked at the suit and noticed that it was shrinking.
"What's going on!?"
"Oh, the suit is just adjusting its own size to make you look more natural," John explained.
"More natural?" asked Ben.
Suddenly, Ben felt that it had become harder to breathe as his chest was pressed down on by the suit.
"It's getting hard to breathe," said Ben. "Is this the work of the green beam?" he asked.
Ben stared at John but John didn't reply. Instead, he pointed at Ben's arms. Ben got shocked as he noticed that his arms were gaining a shiny luster.
"What's happening to my arms?"
"Well, I could tell you, but where's the fun in that?" asked John.
Ben glared at John angrily when he started to feel that his limbs were getting numb.
"My arms! I feel like I'm losing control of them!"
"Never mind, you will eventually get used to it."
Soon, he felt that his limbs were stiff as sticks. Not only that, he also felt that his body had changed too. He felt that he couldn't turn around anymore, and his neck was starting to feel stiff too.
"What are you doing to me!? Can you reverse it?"
"No," said John. "I'm afraid not."
"Somebody help m..."
The effects of the green beam had already reached Ben's entire head. He was immobile.
"What have I become?" he thought to himself.
"Here, go on and promote the balloon stand," said John while putting some balloon strings in Ben's right hand, and a sign in the left, saying,"BALLOONS FOR SALE! COME AND GET THEM!"
"You are the balloon stand's new mascot," said John. "From now until forever," he added.
"No, this can't be happening!" Ben thought.
Part 5: The Clown
"Hello, sweetie. What are you doing here?" asked a clown girl. "You're not supposed to be at the backstage," she pointed out.
"Oh, well, I just thought that I could get to know the clowns," explained Kelly.
"Oh, you want to get to know the clowns, huh?" asked the clown. "Okay, then. Let's begin our tour," the clown said as she brought Kelly inside.
"First of all, we have the clowns. Say hi, gals. This is... Yeah, what's your name, sweetie?"
"My name is Kelly."
"Okay, then. Say hi to Kelly."
"Hi," the clowns greeted.
"She's on tour here to see how we clowns do our job, ain't that right, sweetie?"
"Well, we hope you'll enjoy it," a clown said.
"Next, is the testing rooms. This is the place where we test out our new tricks and gags. Look, there's a clown testing a gag now!"
"I have saved the best for last," the clown said. "Come on, follow me," she said as she showed Kelly a 'follow me' sign. Kelly then followed her.
"What's that room?" asked Kelly, pointing at a door.
"That room is on limits. It's for clowns only," the clown said. "Which you will become," she muttered under her breath.
"Okay, never mind." Kelly said, disappointed that she couldn't enter that room.
"Last but not least, there is the stage, where you will perform."
"Me?" asked Kelly, feeling that the clown had made an error.
"Yes, you," the clown replied with confidence. "Let us begin your transformation."
"My transformation?"
The clown put her index finger in front of her lips and said, "Shhh..." Then, she pulled out a clown hammer from thin air and hit Kelly's forehead.
"Squeak!" the plastic hammer went.
All of a sudden, Kelly lost consciousness. After a while, she regained it, just to find herself tied to a chair in a room will walls made of titanium alloy.
"What? What just happened?"
Suddenly, the clown girl appeared in front of her.
"Remember your transformation?" she asked as she put a red clown nose onto Kelly's nose.
"What? What are you doing to me?"
"Nothing, sweetie, nothing."
"Just let me out of this chair this instant!" Kelly yelled, shaking the chair rigorously as she was struggling to break free.
"Okay, I will," the clown girl said.
"No! Let me out this instant!" she continued to shout. "Wait, what? You will?" she asked, realising that the clown girl agreed.
"Why not? You have to get used to your new clown shoes anyway," the clown said while untying the ropes that held Kelly down.
"My clown shoes?" she said. She looked down at her shoes and saw that they were indeed bigger, the left one orange and the right one cyan.
"What did you do to my shoes and feet?" she asked, feeling her feet growing, adjusting to her enlarged shoes.
"What I did? You should be grateful that I'm doing this to you, sweetie," she said in an angry tone. "You know, not everyone gets this chance."
"But I don't want this chance!" she exclaimed. "I never even asked for it!"
"Never mind that, just focus on your transformation," the clown said.
"What? What happened to my leggings?" she exclaimed, seeing that their colours have changed.
"Just shut up."
"Now I have a skirt too?" asked Kelly, who now had a skirt around her waist. It had bells attached to it.
"Just shut up."
Later, she discovered that she also had a jester cap with bells on it.
Soon, after a while, her whole attire had changed. It looked similar to the one that the clown girl was wearing, but with different colours.
"Am I... Am I turning into you? Is my transformation done?"
"Not quite, you're not really turning into me, but good call," she remarked. "For your transformation, well, it hasn't ended yet."
"So, my clothing has changed into something humiliating," she said. "The worst is past, though I don't know how I will ever be able to show my face like this," Kelly said.
"The worst? Humiliation?" the clown girl said. "No, your humiliation will increase. Let's change your hairstyle."
"My hairstyle? But it's perfect! Not my hairstyle!"
"Oh, let's add some pigtails," the clown said. Suddenly, two short curly pigtails appeared at the side of Kelly's head.
"Pigtails? Is there more?"
"You want more?" the clown girl asked rhetorically. "Then have some more," she said as she pointed towards Kelly's pigtails. All of a sudden, bells appeared at both of Kelly's pigtails, one on the left and one on the right.
"No! I didn't mean... Well, you know what I meant."
"Your transformation is nearly over," the clown girl said.
"Thankfully."
"Last but not least, there are the giggles."
"The giggles?" Kelly asked. Suddenly, she couldn't stop smiling. Soon, she even started to laugh and giggle.
"Hahahaha!"
Kelly felt embarrassed by her constant and uncontrollable laughing and immediately closed her mouth with her gloves.
"Gloves!" she thought. "When did I wear gloves?"
"You know you can't stop the laughter," the clown girl said. "So let it out."
All of a sudden, Kelly lost control of her hands as well and her hands moved away from her mouth. "Hahahaha!" she continued laughing out.
Soon, her hair turned a bright shade of green.
"I can't stop this..." Kelly thought to herself. "I can't even think straight anymore..."
"I can't stop... Hahaha!"
"Just a little while longer, sweetie."
Indeed, after a while, Kelly's face turned white.
"It is done."
Suddenly, Kelly's mind went blank. She stopped laughing and just looked ahead, not moving at all. Her consciousness faded and she couldn't think at all.
A few seconds later, her consciousness returned, as a whole but altered.
"Hey! I'm a clown now!" exclaimed Kelly. "I like this life!"
"Glad you like it," said the clown girl. "What's your name, sweetie? Every clown has to have a name."
"Hmm... My name is.. My name is Belly Kelly!" Kelly said, honking her clown nose and enjoying it.
"Welcome to the big top," the clown said. "Hope you'll enjoy living here forever!"
"Sure will!"
Part 6: The Mime
Somewhere else, Alicia was looking for Kelly.
"Kelly? Where are you?"
Suddenly, Alicia heard a voice coming from backstage.
"Okay, Kelly. Time to test your clown skills."
"Clown skills?" Alicia thought to herself. "Could that have been the same Kelly that I know?"
"Okay. Do I go on stage?" another voice came.
This time, however, the voice seemed familiar. Yes! That should be Kelly!
"Yes, go on to the stage now, sweetie."
Who was that other voice? And go on stage? Sweetie? Alicia just had to find out.
So, Alicia sat down on one of the seats in the front row. After a while, a figure appeared on stage. It was a clown girl
that looked like Kelly.
"Is this Kelly?" Alicia thought to herself. "No, this can't be! Kelly's not a clown."
"Welcome everybody to the Melancholia Carnival Circus!" the clown girl said. "My name is Belly Kelly and I am here to show you all some tricks!"
"Belly Kelly?" Alicia thought.
"What have you done to Kelly!?" Alicia bursted out, not able to stand it anymore.
"Kelly? You mean Kelly Smith?"
"How... How did you know?" Alicia asked.
"It's me, Kelly Smith. I'm a clown now."
"You are?"
"Yes. Remember my ambition? Well, I succeeded in the audition for the job!" exclaimed Kelly. "They hired me as a clown!" Kelly exclaimed with joy.
"Oh, I see," Alicia murmured.
"Do you want to see a show?" asked Kelly.
"Okay," Alicia said, even though she had a bad feeling about the show.
"Okay, first is juggling," Kelly said as she made three balls appear out of thin air, one red, one blue and one green.
"How did you just do that?" Alicia asked surprisedly.
"Clowns never reveal their secrets, Alicia."
"Hold on. I thought that was magicians?"
"Clowns, magicians, we're all the same! Performers of talent, aren't we?"
"Well, I guess you could say so," Alicia mumbled, still having the feeling something bad would happen.
"Watch me juggle this! Watch closely.
Kelly started to juggle the three balls. As time went on, she juggled the balls faster and faster. Soon, they were so fast that it seemed that there was a white circle drawn in the air.
Suddenly, Kelly threw the red ball up. In a blink of an eye, the red ball disappeared and a portal was formed next to her.
Then, still juggling with two balls, she threw the blue ball below the seat that Alicia was sitting at. All of a sudden, a portal also emerged under Alicia's feet. Alicia's seat fell through the portal along with her.
In an instant, Alicia fell through the portal that Kelly opened on stage and Alicia landed on the stage.
"What? What just happened?"
"I teleported you on stage."
"Why?"
"Let's just say, for my next performance, I need a volunteer."
"Okay," Alicia said as she stood up from her seat.
Suddenly, Kelly took out a pie from her back.
"Where did you get that pie from!?"
"Splat!" the pie went.
"Custard pie!" Alicia shouted. "I hate custard pie!"
"You want me to wash it off?"
"Squirt!!!" water shot out from a bright green flower on Kelly's clothes.
"Aaah! That's too much water!!!" exclaimed Alicia.
After a while, the pie washed off Alicia's face. After the wash, Alicia's face turned white.
"Look in the mirror," said Kelly as she handed over a mirror.
"Aaah! My face has turned chalk white!"
"You ready for the final step?" Kelly asked as she pressed the flower on her shirt.
"Squirt!!!" A black and white liquid shot out from the flower towards Alicia.
"Aaah! Not again!" Alicia shouted as she tried to block the liquid using her hands.
Soon, the liquid stopped squirting her.
"Hello," said Kelly to Alicia.
Alicia smiled and waved her hand back, which was pretty unusual for the normally talkative Alicia.
"Can I punch you?" Kelly asked.
Suddenly, Alicia put out her two hands and made a gesture that made it look like there was a wall between her and Kelly.
Kelly tried to punch Alicia but was stopped by the invisible wall.
"Ouch!"
"Welcome to the circus, Alicia Mime."
Alicia bobbed a curtsy to Kelly.
"Everyone, please give a big round of applause for Alicia Mime!"
Part 7: The Pony
"Where is everybody? I can't find a single one of my friends," Judy muttered to herself.
"Alicia! Mary! James! Where are you?" she called out.
"No, I give up. I just can't rely on them anymore," she said to herself while walking to the arcade area, hoping to find Ben.
"Huh. Even Ben is not here. Where is everyone? All that is here is a merry-go-round," she said. "Oh well, I might as well take a ride on the merry-go-round to take my mind off of things for a while," she sighed.
She walked to the merry-go-round but couldn't find anyone there.
All she found was a control panel.
"Insert a dime to run. Choose time and speed to start."
"Time?" she thought. This was the first time she saw a merry-go-round that let you change the time.
"Oh, well, I have five dollars, so riding this won't do any harm."
"Hey, what does this lever do?" she asked herself after noticing a lever on the control panel. She looked closely and found the word "TRANSFORM" written above the lever.
"Might as well try this special feature out," she said as she pulled the lever down. "One ride will do." She set the timer to normal and put a dime into the coin slot. Then, she rode on one of the ponies and pressed the start button.
The merry-go-round started to spin and it played a song. "Hey Jude, don't make it bad, take a sad song and make it better, remember to let her into your heart, then you can start to make it better..." the song played.
"Hey, it's my favourite song!" exclaimed Judy. Soon, Judy started to sing along. "Hey Jude, don't be afraid. You were made to go out and get her, the minute you let her under your skin, then you begin to make it better," she sang.
After about five minutes, the merry-go-round stopped, but the song continued on. Judy got off the pony but found herself walking around the merry-go-round while still singing the song.
Suddenly, Judy saw that her legs and pants had turned pink.
"What?" she cried out.
Soon, she felt that her shirt was merging together with her pants and becoming one. Then, her feet and hands started to change into hooves.
"What is happening to me?" she asked herself while looking at her hands, now completely turned into purple hooves.
She was shocked by her transformation. However, after a short while, she continued to sing the song, "Hey Jude, don't let me down. You have found her, now go and get her, remember to let her into your heart, then you can start to make it better."
In an instant, her merged clothes had turned pink and her face had too. Her clothes were expanding to cover her entire skin, not leaving a single part of it exposed. All of a sudden, she felt a weird feeling coming from her gluteus maximus. She turned around and saw that a strand of purple hair had grown out from her gluteus maximus. Also, her hair had turned purple.
Then, she lost her balance and fell down to stand on four legs. Up ahead, Judy, now a pink and purple pony, saw a pink light. In her mind, she was in a field, running with her friends, singing her favourite song while doing so. In the real world, she galloped towards the pink light and jumped towards it.
Suddenly, two poles came out and held her in place. As her body became stiffer, a saddle emerged on her back. Although she was turning into a merry-go-round pony, she just couldn't care. All that she thought was that she was in a marathon, running around in a never ending marathon. "But why," she thought to herself, "Why does it feel like we are running in circles?"
Part 8 (FINAL): The End
"Kelly? Where are you?"
Suddenly, Alicia heard a voice coming from backstage.
"Okay, Kelly. Time to test your clown skills."
"Clown skills?" Alicia thought to herself. "Could that have been the same Kelly that I know?"

Suddenly, Kelly took out a pie from her back.
"Where did you get that pie from!?"
"Splat!" the pie went.
"Custard pie!" Alicia shouted. "I hate custard pie!"
"You want me to wash it off?"
"Squirt!!!" water shot out from a bright green flower on Kelly's clothes.
"Aaah! That's too much water!!!" exclaimed Alicia.
After a while, the pie washed off Alicia's face. After the wash, Alicia's face turned white.
"Look in the mirror," said Kelly as she handed over a mirror.
"Aaah! My face has turned chalk white!"
"You ready for the final step?" Kelly asked as she pressed the flower on her shirt.
"Squirt!!!" A black and white liquid shot out from the flower towards Alicia.
"Aaah! Not again!" Alicia shouted as she tried to block the liquid using her hands.
Soon, the liquid stopped squirting her.
"Hello," said Kelly to Alicia.

Soon, she felt that her shirt was merging together with her pants and becoming one. Then, her feet and hands started to change into hooves.
"What is happening to me?" she asked herself while looking at her hands, now completely turned into purple hooves.
She was shocked by her transformation. However, after a short while, she continued to sing the song, "Hey Jude, don't let me down. You have found her, now go and get her, remember to let her into your heart, then you can start to make it better."
In an instant, her merged clothes had turned pink and her face had too. Her clothes were expanding to cover her entire skin, not leaving a single part of it exposed. All of a sudden, she felt a weird feeling coming from her gluteus maximus. She turned around and saw that a strand of purple hair had grown out from her gluteus maximus. Also, her hair had turned purple.
Then, she lost her balance and fell down to stand on four legs. Up ahead, Judy, now a pink and purple pony, saw a pink light. In her mind, she was in a field, running with her friends, singing her favourite song while doing so. In the real world, she galloped towards the pink light and jumped towards it.
Suddenly, two poles came out and held her in place. As her body became stiffer, a saddle emerged on her back. Although she was turning into a merry-go-round pony, she just couldn't care. All that she thought was that she was in a marathon, running around in a never ending marathon. "But why," she thought to herself, "Why does it feel like we are running in circles?"
Part 8 (FINAL): The End
It had been more than 45 minutes since they have arrived there. Arnold, the only one unharmed, was waiting for them. However, eventually, Arnold was sick and tired of waiting for them, and went looking for them.
He went to the puppet area, but no one was there. He then went to the gift shop, but no one was there either. He then went to the arcade area. No one was there, either, but as he was going to leave, something stopped him. There was a voice in his head. He could hear a voice.
"Arnold... Don't go yet."
"Who are you? How do you know my name?" asked Arnold.
"I am Ben. A terrible fate has come over me. I have been transformed into a balloon boy."
"I see. What about the others?"
"They... I don't know. You must save me."
"Ok. I will."
Then, Arnold went to find the others. He proceeded to the merry-go-round. He didn't see anyone there either.
"Hi Arnold. I am Judy."
"Judy?"
"Yes. I have been turned into a pony."
"Seriously? Just now I found Ben turned into a balloon boy."
"Yes. It seems that this circus is cursed. I heard a man laughing gaily and devilishly. Oh, and before I transformed, I couldn't find anyone either."
"Is that so? It's so weird. Hmm... Maybe the rest have also been changed."
"Hope you can save me, Ben and the others, then."
"Okay. Thanks."
Arnold then went around the circus and he stumbled by a security room. He went in there and saw drawers. Suddenly, he saw a note in the desk.
To everyone that find this place,
You had to get out of here! This place is not what it seems! But if you being consumed by this carnival, you will never get out!
Unless, one of you is the survivor.
If you're reading this are the survivor, you had to save your friends from this carnival. They might already being transformed into anything that have in this circus. There are some things that can be used in the drawers to save your friends. Before that, you need to go to the Merry-Go-Round to find the key. The Merry-Go-Round is actually a time machine. You have to travel to the past to reveal about the history of this circus and find the drawer key. There are some things to save your friend also are in the past, so went to the time machine and save them all.
One more thing, BEWARE OF THE MASTERMIND! He's the one that controlling this place. If you did find him, DESTROY HIM ONCE AND FOR ALL and you all will be back to reality.
What do I mean by reality? All the answers is on the time machine. Went there and you will uncover the dark secrets of this circus.
REMEMBER, THE MASTERMIND IS THE ONLY AUDIENCE HERE! THERE WERE NO PEOPLE HERE OTHER THAN YOU GUYS AND HIM! FIND HIM, SAVE YOUR FRIENDS, DESTROY HIM AND BACK TO REALITY!

"Looks like this person has been killed because that person that works here write this warning letter. Well, I had to go to the Merry-Go-Round to find the keys", said Arnold.
Arnold also saw a note saying's the items that he need to find to save his friends.

He then later went to the Merry-Go-Round to unlock the time machine.
"Judy, don't worry! I will save you and all our friends!", said Arnold.
Arnold remembered back the clues from the letter.
"Judy, which pony are you?" asked Arnold.
"Mine one is the pink color", said Judy.
He then saw the pony with pink color and ride it.
"So now what we're going to do?" asked Judy.
"Not sure, but the next clue is..." said Arnold and he stopped due he see that his environment changes.
"Wait, where is the circus?" asked Judy.
"So this place isn't real, just like the security said", said Arnold.
After that, Arnold saw a backstory of this place.
"Melancholia is actually a test, a database. All you see here is not what it seems, it is a fantasy. The scientist made this circus for a test, but when they doing the test, a glitch emerged in their test which is known as the Mastermind. He killed the scientists and hunt for the first badge to made this plan success. He found the first badge and it is a success but he think that this isn't enough. He do the test again to find the second badge and the second badge also been done (which is the characters of this story)."
"So, this place isn't real. It is just our fantasy, we have to get out of here", said Arnold.
Suddenly, Arnold saw a key, a horseshoe, a water balloon and a hat.
He then rode Judy and the time machine went back to the Merry-Go-Round at the carnival.
Arnold then put the horseshoe to Judy based on the note that he saw at the security room. Suddenly, the pony turn into glowing light and Judy appeared in front of Arnold.
"Arnold, thank you so much for saving me!", said Judy.
"You're welcome. Now let's save Ben, I saw him, he is the balloon boy, we need to save him", said Arnold.
They both then later went to the balloon stall to save Ben.
"Arnold, Judy? You finally came! You need to help me!", said Ben.
"Don't worry Ben, we will save you", said Arnold.
Arnold then popped the water balloon on The Balloon Boy and after a few seconds, the balloon boy turned glow and Ben appeared in front of them.
"Thanks for saving me! Now let's go save our friends!", said Ben.
They three then later went to the Magician show. They three then shocked to saw that the magician is actually James.
"Hello audience! Welcome to my magic trick performance. And today I will do a trick with my friend, Mary the Bunny!", said James.
They three also shocked that Mary also being transformed into a bunny girl.
"Now I will made a trick to made my hat disappeared. One of you will get my hat", said James.
Arnold then have a idea.
"Guys, if one of us get the hat, change the hat to the hat that I get to bring him back to his true self", said Arnold.
James then use his magic trick and his hat disappeared. Suddenly, the hat is on Arnold's hat and he immediately change the hat to the hat that he got from the time machine.
"Here sir, here's your hat", said Arnold.
"Wow you got it! Thank you so much!", said James.
He then later wear the hat and he suddenly fainted. After a few minutes, he woke up and saw his friends.
"Arnold, Judy, Ben? What happened?", asked James.
"You being transformed into a magician and now you back to your true self", said Judy.
"Thanks for saving me, but how we're going to transform Mary back to normal?" asked James.
"Is there anything that can transform back Mary in the hat?" asked Ben.
James then checked the magician hat and found a Bunny Ears. He then later wear the ears to Mary and she turned back into human.
"You guys, you're all okay, but what happened to me?" asked Mary.
"You're being transformed into a bunny girl due to James do a magic tricks on you. But now you both are okay. Now let's go find the rest of our friends and we can get out of here", said Arnold.
They all then later followed Arnold to the security room. He opened the drawer and he saw three things; a jar with a heart, a beret and a clown nose.
"Eww, why is there a heart here?" asked Mary.
"Look, I think this heart is for Pinnochia isn't it?", said James.
"We need to find Pinnochia. Maybe this is can save one of our friend", said Ben.
They all later went to the Ventriloquist booth and they saw a girl Pinnochia. When they opened the chest of the Pinnochia, the heart is gone so Judy put the heart into Pinnochia. The heart begin to pump the whole body of Pinnochia and all of the sudden Pinnochia being transformed back to Catherine, their friend.
"Catherine, you're back!", said Judy.
"Thanks for saving me! I could be Pinnochia forever if you guys didn't save me. The Ventriloquist hypnotized and controlled me and he said that I should be stay there forever become Pinnochio's partner. I don't want that to happen, but luckily you guys saved me!", said Catherine.
"It's okay now. We need to find Kelly and Alicia, they must be somewhere around here", said Arnold.
They six then later went to find Alicia and Kelly. Suddenly, they saw a guy calling them.
"Hey kids! Where do you want to go?" asked the guy which is also the shopkeeper.
"We're going to find our friends. Do you know where they're are?", asked Mary.
"No! I didn't saw anyone, but hey after this there are a show at the main stage. Do you want to join?", asked the shopkeeper.
"Sure, by the way what's your name?" asked James.
"My name is MM. Just MM, no long name", said MM.
What thing that they don't know MM is actually referred to the Mastermind. After that, they all went to the main stage and wait for the performance by a clown and a mime. Then, the stage open. The clown and the mime then came out and what shocked all of them is the clown and the mime are their friends, the clown is Kelly while the mime is Alicia.
"Oh my god! It's Kelly and Alicia! How we're going to save her?", asked Judy.
"Look! Kelly forgot her nose, we can give this nose to her and hope she turned back to normal. For Alicia, we need to put her this beret to made her back to normal", said Arnold.
Kelly then begin her show.
"Hahaha welcome everybody to my show! My name is Kelly Belly! And now I will do a show for you guys hahaha", said Kelly.
"Uh Miss Kelly. Before you start the show, did you forget your nose? How we want to know that you're a clown that will entertain us?", asked Arnold.
"Oh hahaha, I forgot. Wait here I take it hahaha", said Kelly.
"Uh but Miss Kelly, your nose is right here", said Catherine.
"Oh hahaha how my nose is at your hand. Bring it here hahaha", said Kelly.
"Hope this will work", said Mary.
MM then feel something wrong. He suddenly feel anger in his body.
After Catherine gave Kelly her nose, Kelly wore the nose.
"Hahaha alright now let me start...my...what is...happening...", said Kelly before she realized to her true self.
"Wait what!? Where am I? Why do I wear this clown shirt?", said Kelly.
"Yes! We made it! Now let's save Alicia", said Arnold.
Alicia then made an invisible wall to protect herself. They all trying to break in but they can't. Then, Arnold went to a different angle to find the door. He found the door and went to Alicia to he put the beret on her head.
"No...no, this can't be happening. This is not the plan", said MM.
Alicia then back to her true self.
"Guys, you came. Thanks for saving me, I'm suddenly being transformed into a mime but I don't remember how", said Alicia.
"You're welcome. Now we all here and already being rescued. Let's get out of here!", said Arnold.
Then, MM woke up angrily.
"Arghhhhh...this can't be happening! You all made my plan failed!", angry MM.
Arnold then realized about the Mastermind and now he realized that MM is the Mastermind.
"You...you're the Mastermind!", said Arnold.
"Yes, I'm the Mastermind. I'm the one that control this place, I'm the one that made the first batch of the transformed transform you all into all different things in this circus! I'm the one that in control of you all here! But you all destroyed everything! My masterpiece has been destroyed! Now I need to finish you all once and for all!", said the mastermind.
"Why you're doing this?", asked Arnold.
"The scientist...they think that they're so genius that they can create a fantasy world for kids to play and having fun but they don't know what are the risk they're doing this. I'm the risk, I'm the glitch that being emerged when they test this world. I transformed them all so that I can control this world and capture everyone to I control this place and I will become inevitable. The balloon guy who transformed Ben and the clown that transformed Kelly are two of the scientists. The glitch which is me that they made has gave me unlimited power to control this place. No one can stop me until you came, I told them to transformed you all but you all ruined this up! And now I don't have any choice but to killed you all, let no one tell the story of this place and I will find the next victims to become my lab rat so that they will stuck here forever. Muahahaha!", said the Mastermind.
They all then later fought with the Mastermind.
After few minutes, they still can't defeat him.
"Hahaha, you all giving up now? There's nothing you can do to defeat me. I don't have any weakness and I can't be defeated!", said the Mastermind.
Suddenly, Arnold have an idea to defeat the Mastermind.
"Guys, I think I know how to defeat it", said Arnold.
"How?", asked Catherine.
"We need to destroy everything in this circus", said Arnold.
"But how we're going to do that?", asked Mary.
"We need to explode this circus, destroy it once and for all", said Arnold.
"Is there any other way?", asked Catherine.
"There's no other way, that's the only way we can escaped from this circus", said Arnold.
"I think we need to believe in Arnold. Alright guys, let's do it!", said Ben.
After that, they all find destroy the power plant of the circus. Actually, the power plant is using nuclear energy, so it will be explode if it being destroyed.
"No! It can't be!", said the Mastermind.
The circus suddenly shaking like an earthquake happened and everything there being destroyed and disappeared. After that, a portal emerged at the entrance of the circus.
"We need to get out of here, fast!", said Judy.
They all then ran into the portal and the portal bring them back to their reality which is back to their city and they all left the Mastermind there to see the MCC being destroyed.
After that, they all realized that they're in an alleyway in their city.
"Wait, where are we?", asked Mary.
"We're back at our city. We're home now", said Arnold.
"Yes, finally! I think I would never ever going into circus ever again", said Judy.
"Yeah me too. I think we have to keep a secret about our disappearance and about Melancholia to everyone including our parents because we all know that Melancholia is not real, so just said that we're being kidnapped and we made it out from the criminal base", said Arnold.
"Alright, we promise we never tell anyone about Melancholia", said James.
And that's it! The Melancholia has been destroyed and it is not ever existed anymore. No one ever know about that place anymore, except for that kids that have been there before. They already promised to not tell anyone about Melancholia, they only kept the secret only for themselves.
CHAPTER 6: EPILOGUE OF MELANCHOLIA
As you all know, Melancholia are not real and it is an illusion. Melancholia is actually a test, a database and it is a fantasy. So, the story of Melancholia which is Hotel Melancholia, Melancholia High School and Melancholia Hospital are not real. In this, the real truth will be reveal about what happened to the characters from that 3 stories.
1. HOTEL MELANCHOLIA
As you all know, Mr. Biugle or Ben is a reporter and he want to went back to his hometown but his car is broken during his journey, so he decided to stay at the Hotel Melancholia. But many weird thing happened at that hotel. He met with a girl called Janice or her real name is Tiffany Twisted. She's one of the staff there but then she reveal that she actually a traveler too and she forgot her exact name after dancing 'The Sweet Summer Sweat'. Then, when she asked Captain Barnacles about her true identity, he told her that she was a staff member there who just recovered from amnesia, and he named her Janice. When Ben wants to check out from the hotel, he can't find the passageway and he stuck there forever, and after that he fainted out. When he woke up, Janice came to Ben but he didn't even recognize himself. Janice then said that his name is Benson Martell and he also said that Janice is his girlfriend. And then, Ben become the staff at the hotel forever and he even can't leave the place.
That's not the end of the story. As you all know that Melancholia has been destroyed due to the main base of the database which is the Carnival Circus is destroyed in the previous chapter. So, what is the fate of Biugle and Tiffany? Here is the story after the destruction of Melancholia.
When Benson and Janice are working at the hotel, they suddenly heard an explosion from somewhere near the city and it cause all of the Melancholia city destroyed. They tried to run away but when they're running to find the exit, they fainted out.
When Benson or his real name is Biugle woke up, he shocked that he's in his car and he's stopped at the left side of the highway. Later, a girl knocked on Ben's car.
"Hi! Is your car having trouble?", asked a girl.
"Hi, uh yes. My car seems to be broken. I want to go back to my hometown", said Mr. Biugle.
"Oh, where's your hometown?", asked the girl.
"My hometown is at Zendaria", said Mr Biugle.
"Oh, I also want to go there as well. How about I give you a lift?", asked the girl.
"Sure. I will call my mechanic to took my car to their workshop to fix my car", said Mr. Biugle.
He then later call his mechanic and then rode the girl's car to went back to his hometown. He then see the girl face and he might know her, so he asked her, "Uh excuse me, are we have met before?"
"Uh, I don't think so. We just met at the car. Why do you ask me this?", asked the girl.
"Nothing, your face look similar to someone, but I don't remember her. Forget about that, anyway what's your name?", said Mr. Biugle.
"My name is Tiffany. Tiffany Twisted", said Tiffany.
"Oh, my name is Biugle, just call me Ben", said Mr. Biugle.
The real story is, Ben is really actually found Melancholia but the place is destroyed, so the place is gone forever. After that incident, he doesn't remember anything about Melancholia or he actually met Tiffany at the Hotel Melancholia. He only remember that he fall asleep due to his car is broken and he met Tiffany that is kind want to bring him back to his hometown. Tiffany also not remember anything about Melancholia although she also found Melancholia, she only knows that she's travelling to Zendaria and she met with Ben which his car is broken and she asked him to join her to go to Zendaria. Looks like their memory on what happened at the Hotel Melancholia are gone forever due to Melancholia is actually not exist at all.
2. MELANCHOLIA HIGH SCHOOL
As you all know, there are 4 kids which is Melly, Adam, Noah and Zack that want to find the ghost of the high school but after that they realize that their friend which is Noah is the ghost. Noah don't want to kill them so she asked them to do a ceremony so that she can leave and rest in peace. After that, Melly, Adam and Zack really sad that Noah is actually gone for a long time and they actually friend with a ghost. They will always remember her.
Want to know what happened to they three after MCC is destroyed? Here's the epilogue of their story.
At night time, when they're three at their own house and sleeping they woke up and saw that the Melancholia city is destroyed they three trying to escaped the city. Suddenly, a black hole appeared and they three try to survive but they can't, they all then fall down from the hole.
After the black hole event, they all realized at their own house at their own city, and not in Melancholia.
"Wait, where am I?", asked Melly.
Melly then went outside of her room and she shocked to see that she's at her room at her family's house.
"Sweetie, why you're not ready for your first day at your new school?", asked Melly's mother.
"Oh, uh I just woke up. I will go to bathe right now", said Melly.
Melly then wore her school uniform and went to her new school. Actually, she and her family moved to a new city due to her father got a new work at their new city that they now staying.
Melly then later arrived at her new school. She then went into her class and sit beside a girl.
"Hi! You must be new student here right?", asked the girl.
"Yes, I'm new here! My name is Melly. What's your name?", asked Melly.
"My name is Noah. Nice to meet you", said Noah.
Melly shocked to hear her name. She remembered back again her dream that the girl that is dead at the Melancholia High School. After that, 2 boys in front of him also introduced themselves.
"Hi! My name is Adam and beside me is my friend is Zack. Nice to meet you", said Adam.
"Nice to meet you both too. Did we have met before?", asked Melly.
"Uh no. We just met. What do you mean we have met before?", said Zack.
"Oh...uh nothing. I thought that we had met before somewhere but no, maybe other people sorry", said Melly.
Melly then feel weird. She then realized that the place which she think it's real is not real. She know that the place the she went is just a dream and it it not real after all. Melly then becoming best friends with Noah, Adam and Zack and she already forget everything about Melancholia after few days.
3. MELANCHOLIA HOSPITAL
As you all know that there are 5 kids which is Suzy, Melly, Alan, Aaron and Ben. They all went to the Melancholia Hospital to look for Alicia but then they being captured by Dr. Jay for his mutant test.
Want to know what happened to them after Melancholia is destroyed? Here's what happened.
After Dr. Jay put them in a vial, they all being injected with his mutant vaccine that he made. A few hours later, Melancholia is destroyed. Dr. Jay tried to protect the hospital but he died because of the building is collapsed. But what happened to the kids? The kids also being swallowed into the black hole of destruction but they didn't realize that the Melancholia is destroyed.
"Suzy, wake up!", said a voice that is calling Suzy to woke up.
Suzy then woke up and she shocked to see that her friends are with her.
"You guys okay. I really worried. We're almost being mutated and we being captured by Dr. Jay and we stuck there and we're never return back home", said Suzy.
"What do you mean we're being mutated? And who's Dr. Jay?", asked Alicia.
"Don't you guys remember?", said Suzy.
"Suzy, we came here to find you. You've been missing for a day. Your parents really worried about you", said Alan.
"Are you okay Suzy", asked Aaron.
"Wait, so...that doesn't real!? Then, all this time is just my imagination?", said Suzy.
Actually, Suzy being missing due to misunderstanding between them 5 friends due to they lost in a game competition and that made Suzy mad and left them. She then run away and never return back home for a day. She then realize that she's really tired and she slept at the shop passageway at their city because she lost.
"We're really sorry about what happened yesterday. I didn't mean to mad at you", said Melly.
"It's okay. I'm glad that you found me. Now let's go back home, everyone's must be worried about me right now", said Suzy.
"Let's go", said Ben.
Suzy and her friends then went back home. Suzy then never ever remember about the situation at the Melancholia Hospital ever again.
NOTE ABOUT ALL THE EPILOGUES:
As the addition of the MCC ending, all of the characters that involved in the Melancholia (except MCC) doesn't remember anything about Melancholia after they woke up from their fantasy world / imagination / dream.
